ABOUT

A proud Yorkshire lass, Jennifer Burman started her musical career as a chorister at Bolton Abbey in North Yorkshire and was awarded Leeds Chorister of the Year in 1997.

At the age of 16 she began training at Chetham's School of Music in Manchester, and in 2003 she moved to the bright lights of London to attend Guildhall School of Music & Drama, graduating with a BMus in Vocal Studies.

After a year off to perform and teach, Jennifer attended the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, where she performed at the Embassy Theatre, London Palladium and the Royal Festival Hall. After being nominated for the prestigious Sondheim Song Competition, she graduated with a first class degree in Musical Theatre in 2009.

Jennifer's first job out of Central - as Production Team for Thomson - gave her the travelling bug, and she's been unable to keep still since! She has performed as a soloist, guest entertainer and in duos across the whole of Europe, and has been lucky enough to live in such beautiful places as Madeira, Turkey and Greece.

In 2012 she joined the Celebrity cruise ship Constellation as a Lead Vocalist and travelled to the Caribbean, the Bahamas, the Baltic coast, Norwegian Fjords, the Arctic Circle and the Mediterranean.  ï»¿

After a year working with P&O and Brittany Ferries as a guest entertainer Jennifer joined Cunard's prestigious Queen Victoria ship as one of four Royal Cunard Singers, performing in large-scale production shows while travelling to destinations such as San Francisco, Sydney, New Zealand, Hawaii, New York and Bora Bora. She was nominated twice for the prestigious White Star Award for her excellent work onboard, and performed her solo cabaret show to rave reviews.

Since returning home in 2015, Jennifer has been singing across the UK at a large variety of venues, including holiday parks, casinos, pubs and social clubs! She continues to teach, and is constantly in-demand not only as a performer, but also as a choral leader and vocal coach.
